Jennifer and Jamie got married in June on a day with one of the biggest storms we had seen all summer. They planned a small, intimate ceremony in Forsyth Park, but due to the weather, had to quickly find a back-up plan. Their officiant, Reverend Schulte, offered his church for their ceremony. It was the cutest little white chapel with stained glass windows and beautiful wood pews.
We arrived at the chapel with just enough time for their first look and some portraits with their maid of honor and best man before we headed inside and the sky opened up. Reverend Schulte delivered a beautiful ceremony and Jennifer & Jamie said “I Do”!
After the ceremony, we all loaded into cars as quickly as we could to get out of the pouring rain and headed to Vic’s on the River for their dinner/reception. The new Mr. & Mrs. Strickland cut their cake and took some photos on the balcony overlooking River Street before their dinner.
Two days later, Jennifer reached out to me to ask if I had any availability to meet them downtown for some more photos. Her dream was to have their portraits in Forsyth Park, so we made it happen! Jennifer and Jamie got all dressed up again and we strolled around Forsyth Park and Monterrey Square snapping photos. The lighting and the weather was absolutely perfect for their photos, and we got so many beautiful shots. We ended the evening with photos in the pedi-cab they had rented, and then they rode off into the Savannah sunset.
